Our Forest Gate Dojo is situated in the Durning Hall community centre which is a multi-purpose built community centre; recognised as a safe haven within the local community and open to everyone regardless of age, ability, religion or ethnicity. As community hubs, the centres provide an invaluable source of support for around 2,000 local people each year, particularly those who are newly arrived to the borough, who live on low income, or who are isolated.
The centre is open 7 days a week, and we teach in one of the downstairs halls every Thursday from 6pm to 7.30pm. The centre provides space for leisure, religious, cultural, educational and commercial activities that parents can use while waiting for their children.
We provide training at this centre for both children and adults.
