Welcome to the England Shotokan Karate-Do Federation

The England Shotokan Karate Federation was established in 2005. We are a Karate Club as well as a Karate Federation registering other clubs across the UK. We are a family oriented club and teach children and students from 4 years to adults. We are based in Deptford, Lewisham and Forest Gate. Our teachers are professional, experienced and highly respected both nationally and internationally.

We are active on the Competition circuits and are currently ranked the no.1 club in the UK. The Club boasts a hoarde of World and European Champions. Despite our international prestige, we are a family friendly club and focus on building fitness, confidence and self esteem of all our students.  We provide a nurturing environment for everyone to flourish and encourage parents to train with their children if they wish to.

We are one of the only clubs in the UK with Instructors qualified to teach a variety of Karate styles, including Shotokan and Shito-ryu. Personal development is essential in our teaching – always encouraging students to challenge themselves and achieve their potential is our key ethos.
